Born in Perth, Western Australia, he turned professional in 1998 and has played mainly on the Asian Tour, on which he has won three times. Finished runner-up at the 2015 Made in Denmark and has played in three Major Championships – the 2007 and 2009 Open Championship and 2010 US Open.
