About

The son of a professional footballer, he graduated with a degree in sport science in 2000 before improving his handicap from two to plus three and making the England squad. Turned professional at the age of 25, and completed his PGA training before deciding to pursue a playing career. Was poised to accept a winter job as a postman before finally claiming a European Tour card at the 2014 Qualifying School. Retained his card the following year after a season which included a runner-up at the Africa Open.
