Went to Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee for four years before transferring to Florida State University, achieving a number of individual honours. Secured a fairytale maiden DP World Tour title at the Joburg Open at the start of the 2023 season, winning on just his third start after turning professional. He became the player with the lowest position on the Official World Golf Ranking to win a DP World Tour event, starting the week in South Africa 1,397th in the world, as he won by three strokes at Houghton Golf Club. Won his second DP World Tour title at the 2024 FedEx Open de France, carding a five-under-par final round to win by one stroke at Le Golf National. Sealed his third DP World Tour success and second at Houghton Golf Club - scene of his first - as he became a two-time winner of the Joburg Open in March 2026.
